Kareemah Sabur, MSW


I am a graduate of Harvard University with Master of Social Work degree with a concentration in Mental Health. My work experience has included individual and group therapy for behavioral modification. 

I am also a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.


My approach to coaching weight loss and physical transformation is to empower you with the tools to sustain the journey long after our work is done. I use the latest research in sociology, psychology, exercise science and nutrition to help you reach your goals. My entire toolbox is full of evidence based techniques. I use the latest research to inform my practice, so I am evolving and always looking to deliver you results the best way possible. 

I use:

  • Acceptance and commitment techniques

  • Anti-racist framework

  • Feminist framework

  • Exercise psychology and science

I will educate you about the best diet for weight loss given your goals, history and preferences. I specialize in designing healthy meal plans for sustainable weight loss. You will receive a healthy weekly meal plan. 


 I’ll gather information regarding your current dietary habits and use the information submit to design a nutritional plan including individualized to your body type, weight, preferences and goals. After I send you the plan, I will avail myself to you to answer any questions you may have or provide revisions.


Utilizing information regarding your current fitness level and current exercise routine I will formulate a two-week sample exercise schedule based on your goals. 


After a brief assessment, I will use Zoom to guide you through the workout type of your choice (strength, cardio, circuit training etc.) for one full hour. 


Located in the Greater Boston Massachusetts area, I provide coaching and personal training to clients throughout the Northshore of Boston. I am available to offer online coaching and training to individuals globally.  I can meet you in person if you are willing to travel or if you are located in:

I was an out of shape 45 yr old office worker wanting to shed some pounds and improve my strength and endurance.
